Celebrities love to take up a new hobby and for many, the game of golf is that hobby.
We see countless top names from the entertainment and sporting world turn up to golf events and play in pro-ams as they look to test out their golf game along some of the best in the business.
Of course, many of these celebrities will come from other sports and when we see the likes of Steph Curry, Michael Jordan or Tom Brady doing well, it’s not all that surprising.
However, not everyone is blessed with being a sporting phenomenon and we see celebs from all walks of life like acting, singing and more play the game.

Of course, the answer to our question of if any of these non-sporting megastars can play golf is a resounding yes.
A number of top names in different industries are more than capable with the golf clubs in hand.
Justin Timberlake is one of the very best around and plays off a handicap of four, although there have been suggestions he got as good as playing off just one, while the ever popular actor Billy Murray plays off seven.
Indeed, Murray has become one of the great entertainers on the golf course through the years, providing countless moments of fun.
Actor Samuel L Jackson is another golf love, and plays off a handicap of around seven.
At the more impressive end of the scale, the legendary rock singer Alice Cooper has got himself down to a two handicap over time and is one of the more seasoned golfers in celeb circles.
While at the opposite end of that scale, Sylvester Stallone has never quite managed to get better than being a 20 handicap.
Nevertheless, these big names remain key partners for the PGA Tour and it’s little wonder we see them invited so often.
