Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing what BILD have been reporting about Jürgen Klopp.
The Anfield faithful have seen the German media outlet speaking about Klopp’s hair loss, amid what has been a stressful campaign.
Dr. Villnow – the man who performed Klopp’s hair transplant in 2013, told BILD: “The testosterone in him continues to work. That leads to hair loss as we see it here. It can be related to stress, he has a lot to do at Liverpool. But with him it is hereditary.”
Now, this is quite a strange – and personal – thing for BILD to be discussing.
The 53-year-old has endured one of his toughest seasons since arriving at Liverpool, as a number of his key players have suffered serious injuries.
Klopp also lost his mother this season – it really has been a tough time for the former Borussia Dortmund boss.
Add in the fact that he wasn’t able to fly back to Germany for the funeral due to COVID-19 restrictions, and it’s no wonder he’s been losing a bit of hair.
BILD should recognise this, and be a bit more respectful of the German’s privacy.
One Liverpool fan said this is a sign that the ‘golden era’ is over for Klopp at Anfield.
Another sympathised with the Reds boss, saying that they’ve lost hair due to the stresses of this season, and they’d like to meet any Liverpool supporter who hasn’t!
