With just a few days left before the transfer window closes, Everton have made their move by putting in an offer.

Everton are still without a signing this window and have plenty of areas that need strengthening.

David Moyes has been open about wanting to add new faces at Finch Farm before the deadline, but time is running short.

He has even admitted that it is unlikely any deals will get done in time. Despite that, reports suggest the Toffees are still pushing to bring in a striker.

Everton’s interest in Fenerbahce striker Youssef En-Nesyri has been well documented, but they are not the only club in the mix. The Moroccan forward is on the radar of several sides.

There are also some issues from the player’s side that may need to be worked through.

Despite that, Turkish outlet ASpor now report that the Toffees have made a new approach for En-Nesyri. This time, it is a loan deal with a £20m option to buy attached.

Everton and Juventus appear to be chasing similar targets in this window, with both clubs having shown interest in the Moroccan forward.

The financial terms might not be Everton’s main obstacle here. Alan Myers, writing for Everton News, noted that En-Nesyri is settled in Turkey and may not be keen on moving outside of a warm climate.

Beto could leave Everton before deadline

It has been a quiet window so far at Goodison Park, but there are signs that things could pick up before the deadline.

Beto has attracted attention from various clubs across Europe, with a potential return to Italy being discussed recently.

Moyes addressed this during his press conference on Friday, saying: “People might [leave], yes, but at the moment we are not planning to – but they may well do.”

Interestingly, Fenerbahce have also been linked with Beto as his options seem to increase late in the window. There has even been speculation he could be part of an eventual move for En-Nesyri as well.
