Speaking on the Wrighty’s House Podcast, Ian Wright has been waxing-lyrical about reported Everton target Kasper Dolberg.

Dolberg has been one of the breakout stars of Euro 2020, putting in two fantastic performances thus far in the knockout stages, and he’ll be hoping to follow that up with a great showing against England on Wednesday.

Wright has been blown away by what he’s seen from Dolberg, claiming that he’s starting to look like the finished article now.

What’s been said?

Wright has been full of praise for Dolberg.

“The manager mentioned that Kjaer at the back may be the only one who doesn’t make the next tournament. Look at Dolberg, he’s starting to look like the finished article now, he’s ready to go. I watched him the other day and I did a little analysis on him, and he’s kind of got everything, he’s got everything,” Wright said.

Perfect for Everton

If Rafa Benitez wants to make a statement signing at Everton this summer he could do a lot worse than Dolberg.

As Wright says, the Dane looks to have it all, and if he was to join the club and play alongside the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison it could rain goals at Goodison Park.

Of course, after his performances at the Euros there will be plenty of clubs eyeing him up, but with Everton having such financial might these days, there’s every chance they can win the race for his signature.

England fans will be hoping that Dolberg doesn’t show up on Wednesday, but keeping Denmark’s star striker quiet is easier said than done.
