Micah Richards has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Adama Traore is the ‘fastest person’ he has played with and against.
The former Premier League right-back added that Adama Traore, who is now at Wolves, is ‘faster than’ the likes of Aaron Lennon and Theo Walcott in their prime.
Both Richards and Traore played alongside each other at Aston Villa when the then fresh-faced teenager joined from Barcelona.

It’s been nearly a decade since Traore has been in the Premier League – with Spurs being long-term admirers of the player.
Whilst the 27-year-old is great to watch on the eye, the end product has always lacked, with Richards lauding his former teammate, as he told the Filthy Fellas Podcast.
“Traore is the fastest person,” said Richards. “Faster than Walcott, faster than Agbonlahor in their prime. Faster than Lennon.
“I have raced them all. They might have beaten me by this much (a small margin). But Traore is gone. He is the only one (who bust by hamstring).”

TRAORE’S END PRODUCT
The Spain international’s contract at Wolves is due to expire this summer and it seems as though he will head for the exit door.
Given that he will be a free transfer, then many teams in the Premier League would still be willing to take him on board.
But sometimes, Traore is a player that needs to take away some of his pace for a better first touch, better quality in the final third and more intelligence on the ball.
