Phil Foden has admitted on Sky Sports that Liverpool fans make things very difficult for opposition sides.
Anfield atmosphere
Foden and Manchester City visited Anfield yesterday and were able to come away from the game with a 2-2 draw.
Foden played a key role in helping City pick up a point against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The England international scored City’s first and helped to set up the second, as the shares were spoiled.
And Foden admits that Liverpool fans create an atmosphere which makes it very difficult for opposition sides to play.
“It is very difficult to come here with the fans. It is one of the most difficult grounds to come to,” Foden said.
“I thought we dealt with it very well.
“We were happy to get the draw on another day we could have taken three points.”

Strong home form
The electric atmosphere at Anfield is one of the reasons why Liverpool’s home record over recent years has been so strong.
The Reds have become an incredibly difficult team to beat in front of their own supporters under Klopp.
Liverpool once again showed their quality in the second-half of yesterday’s game too.
Klopp’s side started slowly, but grew into the match and ultimately had the lead twice in the contest.
For that reason Liverpool may have some disappointment that they were unable to hold out to claim a victory.
However, their display was still heartening and keeps them above City in the Premier League table at this early stage of the campaign.
