Though the English transfer window may have come and gone, there’s still a way a club such as Everton can offload its unwanted goods this month, with big-spending leagues like Russia and China still able to acquire new players for another two weeks.

So with that in mind, which Toffees players, if any, could be of interest to those from further east?

David Henen

A target for several French sides in January, Henen was instead left twiddling his thumbs in Everton’s Under-23s. The Belgian winger has 18 months left on his deal and would perhaps jump at the chance of regular first team football elsewhere. Whether or not Russia or China would appeal to him, however, remains to be seen and he may prefer to stick it out until the summer.

Aaron Lennon

The 29-year-old has barely featured under Ronald Koeman, who has since brought in Ademola Lookman from Charlton and immediately made him first pick out wide. Though moves to Russia or China are almost unprecedented for Englishmen of Lennon’s stature, the money on offer could sway the Yorkshireman’s thinking.

Arouna Kone

Out of contract in June, it may be in Everton’s interests to make some of their money back on Kone. The Ivorian has played just 46 minutes of Premier League football this season and is unlikely to be missed, although with Enner Valencia their only other cover for Romelu Lukaku, the Toffees may hang onto him.
