Arsenal’s attacking woes continue, having been beaten 2-1 at home by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday night.

The Gunners lost at home for the third game in a row, and Gabriel’s goal was just the second time they’ve found the net in their last six games.

Mikel Arteta just can’t seem to find an answer to Arsenal’s goalscoring woes at the moment, with both creativity and a clinical edge needed going forward.

It may not only be enough to find a creative player now; Arsenal also need a spark in attack, and that may mean another striker is also needed.

Alexandre Lacazette’s lack of mobility has become a problem, and Eddie Nketiah isn’t quite well-rounded enough at this stage in his career to be Arsenal’s leading man, whilst Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been out of sorts.

Landing a creative player and a prolific striker could both save and revitalise Arteta’s Arsenal – and there’s a double swoop they should consider to solve their problems.

The Athletic report that Arsenal are considering a move for Red Bull Salzburg playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai, whilst Football.London report that the Gunners also want his teammate, striker Patson Daka.

The pair would be ideal for Arsenal; Szoboszlai is a creative force and a goalscoring threat, smashing 12 goals and 18 assists last season, as well as eight goals and nine assists in 16 games this term.

The Hungarian is adept on the left or as a number 10, whilst he has pace, outstanding technique, great set piece delivery and the ability to score from range, as well as the potential to be an absolute star just 20.

Even Szoboszlai on his own would be an ideal capture, but if they can add teammate Daka too, Arsenal can really save their campaign.

Daka emerged following Erling Haaland’s departure earlier this year, smashing 27 goals and 12 assists before starting this season in blistering form having hit 12 goals and five assists in just 11 outings.

The 22-year-old is quick and possesses great movement for his age, whilst he has shown a clinical streak in front of goal – something Arsenal need.

Their existing connection at Salzburg should make a double deal appealing to Arsenal, and they could not only save this season but also become stars together in the coming years for the Gunners.
