Tottenham Hotspur fans are worried about the future of Ryan Sessegnon, after the Guardian’s latest update on Jose Mourinho’s plans.
Tottenham paid £30 million to sign Sessegnon last summer (The Sun), but he could already be facing an uncertain future ahead of next campaign.
That is because Mourinho is apparently planning to promote Dennis Cirkin to be Tottenham’s second choice left-back.
Cirkin is yet to make his first-team debut, but appears to have nudged ahead of Sessegnon in the pecking order now.
How Sessegnon will react to the set-back remains to be seen.
But Tottenham fans are now fearing for his future, as they think he could struggle for game time.
Sessegnon made 12 appearances for Tottenham last season, with his only goal coming against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
