Tim Sherwood has praised Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on PremierLeague.com for his performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League today.
Tottenham have maintained their strong start to the season with a narrow 1-0 win against Wolves at home this afternoon.
England international striker Kane scored the only goal of the match in the 64th minute.
Ivan Perisic, signed on a free in the summer transfer window following his departure from Inter Milan at the end of last season, provided the assist.
Former Tottenham manager Sherwood was following the match for PremierLeague.com, and he was impressed by Kane.
Tim Sherwood on Harry Kane for Tottenham v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Sherwood said on PremierLeague.com: “Typical Antonio Conte! Just getting the job done. It’s not pretty to watch but when you have Harry Kane you’re always going to be in the game. He made the difference.”

Job done
Tottenham Hotspur were not particularly great against Wolverhampton Wanderers, but as Tim Sherwood noted, the North London club got the job done.
Spurs were arguably the better side over the course of the 90 minutes, and Kane delivered the goods yet again.
We know that Tottenham are capable of playing much better than they did today, but head coach Antonio Conte will not mind, as the North London club got the three points from the encounter against Wolves.
