Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Harry Kane will be a key player for Tottenham Hotspur against Stoke City this weekend.

Tottenham will take on Stoke at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

“Spurs have won the last two PL games between the sides 4-0 although both games were in the Potteries,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Harry Kane overcame an injury scare to score a hat-trick at Craven Cottage last weekend in the FA Cup and the England striker could again be the difference at White Hart Lane on Sunday.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Harry Kane first goalscorer 29/10.”

Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is playing well at the moment.

The England international scored all three goals in Spurs’ 3-0 victory over Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage in the fifth round of the FA Cup last weekend.

The 23-year-old striker has scored 14 goals and created 27 chances in 20 Premier League appearances for the North London outfit so far this season.

Tottenham are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 50 points from 25 matches, 10 points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Stoke currently find themselves ninth in the standings with 32 points from 25 games.

Spurs will head into the match as favourites, but one should not dismiss the Potters’ chances of picking up a point.
