Arsenal fans may not appreciate the figures so much…
Dele Alli scored a match winning brace for Tottenham this week to give his side a much needed win over Chelsea.
The Spurs midfielder is the league’s most in form player, and is already marking himself out as a potential Spurs great.
Tottenham’s Dele Alli scores their first goal
He has rapidly overtaken Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere as English football’s most exciting young talent, with his Gunners rival out on loan at Bournemouth trying to re-establish himself after an injury hit career.
Yet despite Wilshere’s poor luck with injuries, there is one stunning Alli stat that stands out in comparison to his England teammate.
In a 17 day span, Alli has scored the same number of league goals (7) as Wilshere has in his entire career.
Alli has scored his seven goals in the last four games, while Wilshere is yet to net for loan side Bournemouth this season.

Last season for Arsenal he played only two matches, so to simply play in 15 matches for the Cherries this season is positive progress.
Yet at 25-years-old, Alli is suddenly a player he needs to catch up to if he is to get back to winning the acclaim which Wilshere him marked out as a national prodigy.
