Sheffield United fans have had their say on the upcoming transfer window.

It has been an impressive start to life back in the Championship for Sheffield United, but could they have the rug pulled from under them next month, with several Blades stars likely to have caught the eye of other clubs?
Who can we expect to leave Bramall Lane? HITC spoke to three knowledgeable Unitedites to find out…

Jack Bingham (@jbingham90)
Does Sheffield United need to sell to buy in January?
It depends who we want to go for – if we stick with the trend of signing players from lower leagues who have a little to prove then we will be okay with [a couple of million]; if we want to substantially improve the squad, then we may see the sale of [David] Brooks, which would hopefully provide a good war-chest. This would allow us to buy somebody in the mould of Ryan Woods or Josh Vela, both of whom have been linked with teams who will be more heavily backed than us.
In what positions are Sheffield United over-stocked?
I feel we may see a striker or two leave, especially if we add more pace up front. [Ched] Evans will be back soon while we’ve seen [Caolan] Lavery back on the bench recently. I cannot see a place for [James] Hanson in the team, despite how effective he was for us last season, and expect him to move to a top-half League One team.
Which Sheffield United player do you most fear losing in January?
With our current central midfield issues, probably [John] Fleck. Though Brooks [potential-wise] and Clarke [form-wise] would be big losses too.
Which Sheffield United player would you most like to see the back of?
Probably [Samir] Carruthers. He has bags of ability but I fear he will never have the concentration to play in a Wilder team. If we could use him as leverage to snap up another target then I’d be happy to see him leave.
Which players do you expect to leave Sheffield United in January?
There has been talk of [Ben] Heneghan leaving on loan, which would make sense given his lack of playing time thus far. Also, as mentioned, I expect Hanson to leave.

Do Sheffield United need to sell to buy in January?
Not really. The club were already financially sound even before the injection of cash from the [Harry] Maguire and [Kyle] Walker deals. We’re in a decent position.
In what positions are Sheffield United over-stocked?
Centre forward. It’s not a bad problem to have but the impressive form of [Billy] Sharp and [Leon] Clarke means [Clayton] Donaldson and Evans have struggled for game time. The latter doesn’t look up to the task in hand in any case.
Which player do you most fear losing in January?
Cameron Carter-Vickers. Leon Clarke is probably [hopefully] too old to be poached by another Championship club, but talk of a Carter-Vickers return to Tottenham Hotspur doesn’t seem all that crazy, with their options at centre-back having been diminished in recent times and [Mauricio] Pochettino’s willingness to promote youth.
David Brooks is almost certain to move onto bigger and better things at some point, but having just signed a new contract January may be a bit soon for that.
Which Sheffield United player would you most like to see the back of?
Ched Evans. His re-signing had obvious off-field issues, but on it he had hardly been in great form for Chesterfield prior to his move. The club need to disassociate themselves permanently.
Which players do you expect to leave Sheffield United in January?
Wilder has built such a strong bond among the first team that I don’t see any players pushing for a move, so in truth the only departures [aside from Carter-Vickers, perhaps] I could see happening would be fringe players moved on.

Do Sheffield United need to sell to buy in January?
I wouldn’t say so, but I expect James Hanson, Nathan Thomas and Ben Heneghen to leave on loan at least.
In what positions are Sheffield United over-stocked?
Nowhere. We have quite a thin squad due to injury.
Which Sheffield United player do you most fear losing in January?
David Brooks. But I also think it’s vital we keep Cameron Carter-Vickers on loan from Tottenham. He will play in the top flight for Spurs in the next year or so – hopefully not before helping us get there.
Which Sheffield United player would you most like to see the back of?
For the first time since I have supported the Blades I like the majority of the players. However, I don’t think I need to see James Hanson play for United again.
Which Sheffield United players do you expect to leave your team in January?
Unfortunately, it wouldn’t surprise me if Brooks left due to the hefty fees being discussed for him. I would expect Hanson to leave and some of the younger players on loan.
