Celtic now have the same number of league wins this season at Ibrox as Rangers.

Rangers lost to Celtic at the weekend in a 2-0 defeat which could easily have been more.

The Scottish champions have now made it 57 domestic games unbeaten, and are rightly thrilled to have extended their record.

Rangers’ inability to stop them is a source of ongoing pain for the club, but focused on this season alone, they have reason to be embarrassed.

Almost two months into the season, Celtic now have as many league wins at Ibrox this season as Rangers do.

Rangers have won only one league game at home, a 4-1 win over Dundee.

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha is seen prior to the Betfred League Cup Quarter Final at Firhill Stadium on September 19, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Until they begin making their home stadium a fortress again, they won’t stand a chance of intimidating Celtic.

Celtic have won the last two matches at Ibrox by a combined 7-1 scoreline. That is just simply woeful for Rangers.

If they had gone into the match with a 100 per cent record at Ibrox this season they would have stood a better chance of beating Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are not intimidated by the atmosphere at all and thrive on it, and it is Rangers who are struggling with the pressure.

Rangers do not have another league game at Ibrox until October 25 when they host Kilmarnock.
