Arsenal left-back Tierney hasn’t forgotten his former club

Kieran Tierney may have left Celtic 16 months ago, but the club has clearly not left his heart.
The 23-year-old’s form has been one of. the few positives in an otherwise dismal few months for Arsenal, with fans of the English Premier League club regularly singing his praises.
Scotland left-back Tierney quickly became one of Mikel Arteta’s key players after English football restarted in the summer.

His excellent performances saw him named Player of the Month for June by fans, and he rounded off the 2019/20 campaign with an FA Cup winner’s medal after playing in the 2-1 win against Chelsea at Wembley.
He may now be firmly settled in London, but Tierney clearly remains devoted to his first club. In an Instagram post on Saturday, he shared a picture of his new shinguards.
One had an Arsenal logo, and the other a Celtic badge.
The image was originally posted by manufacturers Proi.D, before Tierney shared it in his Instagram Story.
Having come through Celtic’s ranks, he went on to make 170 appearances for Celtic before joining Arsenal for £25m in August 2019.
Tierney, who has been capped 16 times by Scotland, impressed at the Emirates on Saturday as Arsenal won 3-1 against Chelsea.
