Some Newcastle United fans actually managed to find a positive on Monday evening, praising Miguel Almiron for his performance against Arsenal.
As you can probably imagine, the majority of fans on social media were disheartened after watching their side lose 3-0 to the Gunners on Monday, but some optimistic supporters actually managed to find a positive.
Almiron was seemingly one of the only players to impress supporters on Monday, with fans refusing to give him any stick, largely praising him for his work rate and his willingness to work.
Unfortunately, the Paraguayan’s efforts were largely in vein as he was unable to stop Arsenal from putting three goals past Karl Darlow, while his efforts going forward were also to no avail.
Newcastle fans need a bit of positivity being spread amongst the fanbase after yet another dire performance from the Magpies, and while the majority of players were being pelted online, Almiron came out of this game with a lot of credit.
