Speaking on the Indirect podcast, Fulham defender, Tim Ream, has been waxing-lyrical about Brendan Aaronson after facing Leeds United last week.

The American defender was on the winning side at Elland Road last weekend, but the Yorkshire club did give Fulham more than a couple of scares.

They scored twice and they started both halves incredibly brightly, causing the Fulham backline plenty of problems.

Ream had Aaronson as a guest on his podcast after last week’s game, and he had nothing but good things to say about the attacking midfielder, stating that he’s already proven his ability within 12 games of arriving in the Premier League.

Ream praises Aaronson

The Fulham ace gave his fellow countryman a glowing review.

“To be fair, playing in Salzburg and the Champions League was the perfect stepping stone for you to go into Leeds. You’ve equipped yourself very well, but listen, the boy can play. you have proven that already within 12 games,” Ream told Aaronson on the podcast.

Confidence

It would be very easy for Aaronson to be feeling a bit low on morale after Leeds’ recent form, but comments like this will help his confidence.

Leeds have failed to win any of their last eight league games, and, in all honesty, that run will probably extend to nine games after their match against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday evening.

Inevitably, heads will drop due to this poor form, but Aaronson has received a bit of a confidence boost here as Ream has told him just how talented he believes he is.

Fingers crossed Aaronson can begin to kick-on for Leeds, because they need all of their players at their best if they’re going to drag themselves out of the relegation zone.
