David Seaman has claimed that Arsenal’s ‘biggest danger’ to finish in the Premier League’s top-four are their rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Going into the final few months of the Premier League season, the two north London rivals are not far off one another in the race for Champions League football.

Arsenal are the ones who have command of the fourth spot because, not only are they three points ahead of Spurs, but they also have one game in hand.

Whilst a lot of the limelight will be on the capital, the attention should also switch over to Manchester and specifically Old Trafford because Manchester United are also in the mix for that all-important final Champions League place.

Nonetheless, regarding both Arsenal and Tottenham, this is what Seaman had to say to Sky Sports about the top-four race.

“I think that’s the biggest danger for Arsenal is Tottenham’s form,” said Seaman. “They can be brilliant, then all of a sudden, they have quite a big hiccup.

“If they can sort that out and get their consistency right, then they are going to be a threat.”

North London derbies on an average day are hotly-contested, aggressive and all-action.

But, when there is extra spice added to it, then it’s only going to explode whenever the fixture is rescheduled.

From Arsenal’s perspective, whilst that fixture is very important, they are also due to play Manchester United.

Win those matches and that final Champions League spot is all theirs, but if they drop points or lose those games, then the heat will seriously turn up in the kitchen.
