Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has said on Sky Sports that he would rather play against Manchester United than in the Merseyside derby against Everton.
Alexander-Arnold has said that Liverpool’s matches against Manchester United are bigger than those against Merseyside rivals Everton.
The England international right-back has added that games against United are also more watched than those against the Toffees.
Trent Alexander-Arnold on Liverpool, Manchester United, Everton
Alexander-Arnold told Sky Sports when asked which game he would rather play in: “Man United’s the bigger game historically. I would say Man United. More people watch.”

Manchester United bigger rivals
Liverpool and Everton are Merseyside rivals, but the rivalry between the Reds and Manchester United is bigger.
Over decades, Liverpool and Manchester United have fought for the league title in England.
While Everton are an established club in the Premier League, they are not at the level of Liverpool and United in terms of stature, financial muscle and fanbase.
So, in our opinion, Alexander-Arnold is right about the rivalry between Liverpool and United and the Reds and the Blues.
Over the past few seasons, Liverpool have won the Premier League title and the Champions League and have consistently challenged for the title.
United are regulars in the Champions League now, but the Red Devils are not able to challenge for the league title at the moment.
