Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso has been praised by Argentinian supporters after his performance against Paraguay last night.

Argentina could only pick up a 1-1 draw in the contest, but Lo Celso was arguably the pick up the players on the pitch.

The Tottenham man created three key chances to his teammates, and even set up a disallowed goal for Lionel Messi.

His display earned him plenty of credit with observers of the game.

And Tottenham fans will be delighted to see the reaction to Lo Celso’s display.

Lo Celso is yet to find his very best form for Spurs this season, after a injury disrupted campaign.

Jose Mourinho has already said that the 24-year-old isn’t fit enough yet (Sky Sports), and that has shown through his displays.

Lo Celso’s performance for Argentina does suggest that he may slowly be getting back to his best, though.

And that can only be good news for Tottenham, as he was such an influential player for them for much of last campaign.
