Mikel John Obi has given his verdict on Chelsea and England international attacking player Raheem Sterling.

The former Chelsea star has noted that Sterling looks like a different player this season.

So, what has Mikel John Obi said about Chelsea attacker Raheem Sterling? Let’s take a look.

What’s the story?

Well, Mikel John Obi has been raving about Chelsea star Raheem Sterling.

The former Chelsea ace has noted that Sterling, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or a winger, is a changed player this season.

Mikel believes that the £325,000-a-week (Spotrac) England international star has been the best player for Chelsea this season.

The 28-year-old has made 11 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League so far this campaign.

The former Manchester City star has scored four goals and given one assist in those games.

Sterling was brilliant against his former club City in the Premier League.

The Englishman is scoring goals and providing assists, and Mikel has been impressed.

Mikel John Obi said about Sterling on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel: “Raheem Sterling, he has probably been the best player right now.

“I don’t know what has come over him this season, I feel like he wants to show he is still that guy.”

Chelsea star Raheem Sterling could get back into England team

In my opinion, Chelsea ace Raheem Sterling could get back into the England team and star for the Three Lions at the Euro 2024 finals.

I believe that Sterling is just too good a player for England head coach Gareth Southgate to leave out.

It is only the middle of November. There is still enough time for Southgate to change his mind over the former Liverpool winger and bring him back into the bold.

If Sterling continues to do well for Chelsea in the coming weeks and months and helps the Blues to the Premier League top four, then Southgate simply would not be able to ignore him.
