Stars from Everton, Liverpool and Manchester United all feature.

With the second international break now upon us, it seems a perfect time to take a look at the Premier League stats so far.
It has been an exciting start to the campaign to say the least, with the goals flowing at both ends of the table.

Indeed, 197 goals have now been scored by all of the clubs, more than the 187 managed in the same period last season.
With that in mind, who have been the best performing forwards in the league so far? Here is what we found:

Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the man with the most shots to his name (38), that is 12 more than Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero in second.
The Swedish superstar also has the most shots on target with a tally of 14, although Chelsea’s Diego Costa and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku are hot on his heels in second with 13 each.
| Position | Team | Total Scoring Att | Appearances | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zlatan Ibrahimovic | FW | Man Utd | 38 | 7 |
| Sergio Agüero | FW | Man City | 26 | 5 |
| Theo Walcott | FW | Arsenal | 23 | 7 |
Lukaku shares top spot for big chances scored with Sunderland’s key man Jermain Defoe as both have put four away so far.
Raheem Sterling has been the best dribbler with 23, while Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez is in second place with a score of 17.
Burnley Sam Vokes has been the biggest aerial threat, winning 53 aerial duels to date. Watford’s Troy Deeney (47) and Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke (42) are second and third respectively.

Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino has been the most creative with 20 key passes to his name, although Alexis Sanchez is chasing him down with 18.
Surprisingly it is Wayne Rooney who has the most penalty area entries with 52. Christhian Stuani of Middlesbrough comes out on top for shooting accuracy with an impressive score of 75%.
Finally, and arguably most importantly, it is Diego Costa who leads the goal-scoring charts with six goals in seven games. Lukaku, Aguero and West Ham’s Michail Antonio all sit behind him with five apiece.
