Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga has raved about his teammate Harry Kane on TwitchTV.
The 22-year-old defender has said that Spurs star Kane is the best striker in the English top flight.
The youngster has said that it is a pleasure for him to play and train with quality players at Spurs and has named Kane as the best striker in he Premier League.
Tanganga said on TwitchTV: “For me, it’s a pleasure to play with such kind of players. If anything, it makes me better as well because I am defending against probably the best striker in the Premier League.”
Manchester City fans might argue with Tanganga’s claim about Kane.
Sergio Aguero is one of the greatest strikers the Premier League has ever seen, although the Argentine has had injury problems this season (and he is also leaving City this summer).
Kane has been in top form for several years now and is doing exceptionally well now, and one could argue that he is the best striker in the Premier League at this moment in time.
The 27-year-old scores goals regularly, and this season he has evolved his game to play as a number 10.
The England international has scored 21 goals and provided 13 assists in 32 Premier League matches, and scored three goals and gave two assists in five Europa League games for Spurs this season.
Tanganga is only 22 years of age and is just starting his career.
Defending against Kane in training on a regular basis would help prepare the English youngster and would help him develop as a footballer.
