Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has labelled Mousa Dembele as the best player he has ever played with, on Don E Music’s Instagram channel.
Dembele has been named as the best player at Tottenham by almost all of his teammates during his time at the club.
And Rose has joined the list of admirers of the Belgian international midfielder.
“Mousa Dembele is the best, like ever. It’s like ridiculous,” Rose said.
“It’s hard to explain but he’s the best.”
Dembele was actually sold by Tottenham in 2019, in a move which was criticised by large sections of supporters.
There is an argument to suggest that Spurs still haven’t replaced Dembele, although Tanguy Ndombele does possess many of the same skills.
During his time with Spurs, Dembele was so a huge presence in the heart of the Lilywhites’ midfield.
Dembele was so strong and gifted on the ball that opposition sides really struggled to disposes him.
Spurs have missed his calmness in midfield this term, with Dembele now playing in China with Guangzhou R&F.
