Jamie Carragher has praised Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson on Twitter for his performance against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Brighton away from home.
It was a very poor performance from the Reds, who struggled at the back and also failed to do much of note in attack.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher was following the match, and the Sky Sports pundit was impressed by the display from Alisson.
Carragher has said that the £190,000-a-week (SalarySport) Brazil international is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League, and that is a big reason why the Merseyside club are not further down the table.

Improvement needed
In our view, Liverpool have to improve a lot if they are to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners have not looked great lately, and their display against Brighton was dire.
Yes, Brighton are a good team who play good football and take the game to the opposition.
And they were also at home against Liverpool.
However, we think that the Reds should have done much better.
