The Tottenham Hotspur left-back enjoyed another good game against former club Swansea City.
Tottenham full-back Ben Davies enjoyed another fine outing against former club Swansea on Sunday afternoon, performing ably for the north London side down the left during a 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium.
Many fans were asking why Danny Rose wasn’t in the starting XI earlier this season but a couple of shaky performances from the 25-year-old have put paid to some of the reservations.
Davies himself, meanwhile, has been doing enough to keep Rose out of the Tottenham side – as he demonstrated once more against the Swans.

As Opta stats show, Davies was a lively outlet down the left for Spurs.
Indeed, he created the joint-highest amount of chances of any Tottenham player during their 2-2 draw at Swansea and completed more final-third passes than anyone bar Christian Eriksen.
Davies didn’t win any dribbles but did win five of his duels (which encompass 50-50 battles). The 22-year-old also won two tackles defensively and made four interceptions.
As much as Rose offered Tottenham going forward last season, then, Mauricio Pochettino appears to be being convinced by Davies’s greater defensive solidity at the moment. And the Welshman hasn’t been too bad going forward, either.
