Arsenal fans have been voting for the player that they would not mind seeing the back of this month.

The results from HITC Sport’s poll looking at the Arsenal player fans would not mind to see the back of this month are in. But which player did Gunners supporters suggest they would not mind seeing sold this month?

3. Per Mertesacker (14%)

The German is still awaiting the chance to make his first appearance of the season, and with Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny performing so well, that wait may well continue. Since the poll began, Mertesacker has signed a new one-year deal (via BBC Sport), so the section of supporters who voted for him are unlikely to get their wish.

2. Mathieu Debuchy (25%)

A quarter of Arsenal fans who voted decided that they would not mind Mathieu Debuchy leaving this month. He has played just once this season, and with Hector Bellerin already in contention for being the division’s best right-back, it is unlikely that his departure would hit the Gunners’ squad too hard.

1. Yaya Sanogo (58%)

The man who took well over half of the vote is largely forgotten striker Yaya Sanogo. The Frenchman has not played all season, and is still awaiting his first Premier League goal. A decent loan spell at Championship strugglers Charlton last season was the most promising chapter from his time in England, and Gunners supporters seem unconvinced that it will get any better for the 23-year-old.
