Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after The Telegraph reported that Mikel Arteta has just five games to save his job.
Ironically, five games from now would be the first north London derby of the season, meaning that the Spaniard’s final game in charge of the Gunners could be against Spurs.
As you can imagine, Tottenham supporters had plenty to say about this, but strangely there was a mixed reaction.
Some fans were relishing the fact that they could have a part to play in Arsenal sacking their manager, but strangely, some fans were actually hoping for a loss in the north London derby so the Arteta era is prolonged.
Spurs fans seem to believe that as long as Arteta is in charge, their rivals will struggle, so it’s understandable that fans want the Spaniard to stay in north London for as long as possible.
