Galatasaray are reportedly willing to snap up Tottenham Hotspur’s Vincent Janssen for £17 million.

If Galatasaray are prepared to spend £17 million on Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen this summer, as has been reported by Soccer News, then Mauricio Pochettino should not think twice about accepting the bid.

Spurs paid big money to snap up Janssen last summer, but the Dutch forward’s time at White Hart Lane has not been particularly productive.

Janssen has struggled for goals all season, and has fallen completely out of favour.

While Janssen has shown flashes of quality in his hold up play, he has never looked likely to become a prolific scorer in the Premier League.

And Spurs simply must take Galatasaray’s offer, as they are unlikely to receive so much money for him in the future.

Although Tottenham would not be making a profit, if they sold Janssen for £17 million, they could still recoup much of the fee they paid for the 22-year-old last summer.

And, after such a poor season at Spurs, that should be seen as a very satisfactory outcome.
