Tottenham Hotspur are bracing themselves for summer bids for Harry Kane. It has been rumoured in the press that Real Madrid have their eyes on the English striker. With Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal-rate coming down with age and Karim Benzema struggling this season the Spurs star has appeared in many gossip columns as the potential next Galactico.

So news from Poland this weekend will undoubtedly be music to the ears of Tottenham fans.

Przeglad Sportowy have been reporting about the future of Robert Lewandowski this weekend.

They suggest that the Bayern Munich striker has changed his long-term agent, in order to facilitate a move to the Bernabeu.

He has appointed super agent Pini Zahavi as his new representative as the 29-year-old looks to make a £150 million move to the Spanish capital.

Bayern Munich are firm in their desire to keep the Pole, but at 29-years-old it is suggested he sees this as his last opportunity to complete a dream move.

Tottenham fans will be over the moon at hearing this, as they will hope a move for Lewandowski will see Real perhaps sit back on their approach for Kane.

Of course, there is the chance Real could sell Benzema and Gareth Bale, clearing room to move for both Lewandowski and Kane.

But the La Liga side must be careful with Financial Fair Play and Tottenham will want a world record fee for their star striker.

If Real Madrid decide to sign Lewandowski, the chances of Kane remaining at Tottenham for next season will undoubtedly be higher.

Eventually, Real will probably come knocking for the Spurs striker if he keeps up his current form, but if Lewandowski ends up at the Bernabeu then Tottenham might have a couple of years to wait for judgement day on Kane’s part.
