David Provan has predicted in The Scottish Sun that John Kennedy’s Celtic will win against Steven Gerrard’s Rangers at Ibrox today.
Rangers will take on bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup this afternoon.
Both the Gers and the Hoops are in good form at the moment, and the match promises to be a hugely entertaining affair.
Rangers have already won the Scottish Premiership title this season and will have a successful campaign no matter what happens today.
As for Celtic, winning the Scottish Cup is one way for the Hoops to salvage something from a very disappointing season in which they failed to fulfil their objective of ’10 in a row’.
Celtic legend Provan believes that Celtic will win the tie against Rangers at Ibrox today.

Provan wrote in The Scottish Sun: “If Rangers lose this Old Firm game, they have still had a terrific season. A Celtic defeat would complete a disastrous campaign for the Hoops. That’s why I fancy John Kennedy’s side.
“The last two derbies have shown Celts are more than a match for Gers over 90 minutes, they just couldn’t match the consistency of Steven Gerrard’s team over a whole campaign.”
Too close to call
Rangers have been the best team in Scotland this season, but Celtic are in good form and the players are playing with more confidence.
In a one-off game, anything is possible. There should be goals in tonight’s tie, and one should not be surprised if there is late drama.
