Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has raved about Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe on Twitter.
Bolasie, who joined Everton from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £25 million, was pleased to see Pepe score for Arsenal in their win against Molde away from home in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The 25-year-old winger scored the opening goal for the Gunners in the 50th minute, as the North London outfit won 3-0 to book their place in the knockout rounds of the European competition.
It was a perfect way for Pepe to make up for his dismissal against Leeds United at Elland Road in the Premier League last weekend.
Bolasie was following the match, and the Everton winger was pleased for the Ivory Coast international.
Encouraging for Nicolas Pepe
Pepe played well for Arsenal against Molde and took his goal well, which will give him a good deal of encouragement.
The winger has been rather inconsistent since he moved to Arsenal back in the summer of 2019, but as he showed with his goal against Molde, he does bounce back from disappointment.
