José Enrique has taken to Twitter to tell Liverpool they should sign Bukayo Saka, after the Arsenal wonderkid was named PFA Fans’ Player of the Month.

What’s the story?

Well, the £33,000-a-week forward beat the likes of Kai Havertz, Harry Kane and Ivan Toney to the award, leaving Enrique impressed.

The Spaniard – who made 99 appearances for Liverpool – is such a big fan of Saka, that he feels Jürgen Klopp should approach him if Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League.

You can see the 36-year-old’s tweet in full below.

Saka won the award after scoring two goals in four Premier League games throughout March, while also providing one assist.

The England international now has ten goals in 35 appearances this season, as well as five assists to his name.

Arsenal won’t sell to Liverpool

Unless Saka himself forces a move to Anfield, we can’t see any scenario in which the Gunners willingly sell their No.7 to the Reds.

The 20-year-old is Arsenal’s poster boy, and has the potential to become one of the very best forwards in Europe.

In our view, Mikel Arteta wouldn’t even sell Saka for £100m right now.

The youngster’s contract at the Emirates Stadium expires in June 2024, so if Arsenal fail to reach the Champions League before then, he may become unsettled and look for a move.

However, that is purely hypothetical. As things stand, prising Saka away from north London is probably going to be one of the hardest things to do in the market.
