Jamie Carragher has told Monday Night Football, which was broadcast on Sky Sports, that Liverpool full-back Andy Robertson looks so tired at the moment.
Robertson has played in 94% of Liverpool’s games since 2018, which is the highest of any member of their team.
Carragher noticed that Robertson’s intensity levels had dipped in Liverpool’s last game.
Robertson failed to defend to his usual standards as Phil Foden added a fourth goal on Sunday in Manchester City’s 4-1 win.
And Carragher felt that the £10 million Liverpool full-back (BBC Sport) was really showing signs of fatigue now.
“Andy Robertson is the highest number [of games played],” Carragher said.

“I felt for him on the fourth goal. When the ball went over his head I was watching it in commentary and I was thinking ‘that’s not Andy Robertson, he’s not got out there quick enough’.
“We are talking about the most aggressive and intense full-back we’ve seen in the last few years but it was almost physical and mental fatigue.”
Liverpool do have an option to rotate Robertson out of their starting line-up, but Jurgen Klopp hasn’t really trusted Kostas Tsimikas since his arrival.
The Greek full-back has often been overlooked, with Robertson being played game after game.
It seems unlikely that the Scot will be rested any time soon either, as Liverpool are now desperate to get back to winning ways to protect their spot in the top four.
