Speaking on Undr The Cosh, Danny Simpson has been discussing what N’Golo Kante was like at Leicester City and Bukayo Saka.
As many will know, Kante is known to be one of the most soft-spoken and humble players in the Premier League’s recent history, and Simpson says that he was exactly what you’d expect him to be around the training ground.
The full-back says that Kante was just always smiling and that his positivity was infectious at times.
Interestingly, Simpson compared Kante’s attitude to Bukayo Saka, stating that he’s heard from within the England team that Saka is a similar character.

Saka is just like Kante
Simpson spoke about the Frenchman and Saka’s similarities.
“He (Kante) was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Just a top human being, he would just smile and he was always happy. He didn’t sweat, he was just a machine mate. He was infectious. You know when people talk about Saka in the England team and that he’s the little brother and everything? That’s N’Golo, you just almost want to give him a cuddle,” Simpson said.
Great characters
Simpson says that Saka reminds him of Kante, and that’s exactly what you want to hear as an Arsenal fan.
Kante may not be the biggest character in football, but he’s one of the most popular players in the game and he genuninely seems like an incredibly nice person.
Saka is cut from that same cloth. You saw it in the All or Nothing documentary this year when he was buying gifts for all of the staff members at the club and going out of his way to make sure he was signing all of the charity merchandise that was due to be auctioned.
Saka may only be 21 years old, but he’s a great role model within football already.
