Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are reacting to a transfer rumour regarding Adama Traore.
According to El Nacional in Spain, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is still keen on bringing the 25-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers winger to Anfield in January.
Traore has been linked to the Reds on and off for a few years now.
And as of right now, there’s no reason to believe that the Spain international will finally join Klopp’s side this time around.
Well, almost no reason.
The fact is, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah – whose contract, which expires in 2023, is yet to be resolved – both turn 30 next year and the German coach might have one eye on long-term replacements going forward.
This is particularly true of Salah because if Liverpool can’t tie him down, moving him on and getting somebody else in as soon as possible is the logical step.

Salah replacement?
Well, you would hope not.
Traore, like Salah, is a wide player, but that’s basically where the similarities end.
The Wolves man is frighteningly strong and bullet quick, but he could have twice as much strength and speed and he’d still be nowhere near Salah.
That’s because the 29-year-old knows how to score goals and set them up.
The Liverpool man is simply a far better footballer than Traore, who has two goals and three assists in his last 44 Premier League games.
And when the Reds do need to replace the man himself, they’re going to need absolute class – and Traore just doesn’t match up.
