Jermaine Beckford has said on The Official Leeds United Podcast that Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa showed sentiments against West Bromwich Albion.
Beckford has said that Leeds boss Biesla showed that he has emotions when he played Gaetano Berardi and Pablo Hernandez at Elland Road last weekend.
Defender Berardi and attacking midfielder Hernandez are leaving Leeds this summer.
The two players played their final game for the Whites last weekend against West Brom.
Berardi started and played for 69 minutes, while Hernandez came off in the 70th minute.
Former Leeds striker Beckford has said that Bielsa showed the sentimental side of his personality by bringing off the two players so that fans could applaud them off the pitch.
Beckford said on The Official Leeds United Podcast: ”People talk about how ‘Oh he is not sentimental, he does whatever it takes, all he cares about is winning’, but that’s just not true, is it?
“You look at the game on Sunday, you look at the fact, all the boys played 65 minutes, and you saw the numbers come off one after the other and it was strategically done, it was strategically done.”

Berardi missed almost the entire season with injury, while Hernandez did not really make a lot of contribution.
However, all Leeds fans will tell you that both players have been superb for the club over the years.
Both Berardi and Hernandez played well in 2019-20 to help Leeds clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Leeds fans will miss Berardi and Hernandez.
