Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to deliver an honest verdict on Celtic’s 1-0 defeat to Rangers in Saturday’s Old Firm derby.
Neil Lennon’s men suffered their second league defeat of the campaign to Steven Gerrard’s side at Ibrox after an own goal from Callum McGregor.
The Gers are now 19 points clear of their Glaswegian rivals, although the Bhoys still have three games in hand – for what it’s worth.
However, Sutton doesn’t seem to think that’s worth much, as he pretty much concedes the Scottish Premiership title to Rangers.
You can see his tweet in full below.
At this point, you can’t really argue with Sutton.

The Hoops have a monumental mountain to climb in the second half of the campaign, and they will have to rely on Rangers slipping up along the way.
Currently, that simply doesn’t look likely to happen.
Gerrard has overseen 20 wins and two draws from 22 games in the Scottish Premiership this term.

To be unbeaten at this point of the campaign is excellent work.
Sutton is also spot on with his verdict on shot-stopper Allan McGregor.
The 42-cap Scotland international was superb at Ibrox, making three saves on his way to keeping another clean sheet.
