‘That’s extraordinary’: Some non-Leeds stunned by previous transfer claim about Whites duo

Nottingham Forest supporters have reacted on Twitter after a report emerged about them having Leeds duo Kalvin Phillips and Stuart Dallas on their 2019 transfer wish list.

The Athletic report that Forest were keen on signing the Leeds duo before the Yorkshire outfit could make a return to the Premier League.

Whilst Leeds have had their off-field and on-field problems over the years, it’s perhaps not as bad as Forest.

The two-time European Cup winners are the biggest club currently outside of England’s top-flight and a sleeping giant that just simply cannot wake up anymore.

Some Forest fans shared that the bizarre transfer list of players they were seemingly interested in, including Peter Crouch and Kelechi Iheanacho, just shows how badly run their club has been.

Whilst Forest try to claw their way back up the Championship table, both Dallas and Phillips are thriving in England’s top-flight.

Forest fans will be hoping that two players of Phillips and Dallas’ calibre can crop up from either their academy or from the market because they need that type of quality form them to start challenging the top.
