Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing what Trent Alexander-Arnold did to Heung-min Son last night.

During the Reds’ 2-1 win over Tottenham, the England international pulled off a cheeky nutmeg on the South Korea international.

The footage in question shows Alexander-Arnold bringing the ball down, before gently popping it through the legs of Son.

Hilariously, the former Bayer Leverkusen attacker realises he’s been made to look foolish straight away, and simply stops playing in resignation to what’s just happened.

In terms of his overall reaction to the embarrassing nutmeg, however, Son came out on top.

Shortly after Alexander-Arnold ‘megged’ him in the first-half, Tottenham’s No.7 went on to score an equaliser for Jose Mourinho’s side.

It looked like it was going to earn the north Londoners a point, until Roberto Firmino powered home a late header from Andy Robertson’s corner.

Tottenham had a chance to take the lead when Steven Bergwijn raced through on goal, but the Dutchman’s effort clipped the post.

If Son was on the end of it, however, you might’ve expected Alisson to have been beaten.

After all, the South Korean now has 11 Premier League goals this season, sitting joint-top of the scoring charts alongside Mohamed Salah and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Let’s see how the Liverpool fans on Twitter reacted to what Alexander-Arnold did…
