Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to Gianluigi Donnarumma being named the Player of the Tournament at Euro 2020.
The 22-year-old helped Italy beat England in the Euro 2020 final on penalties and he was then handed the individual award by UEFA.
Before the start of the tournament, there were rumours circulating about Spurs possibly signing the player this summer.
But that has since been blown out of the water and the former AC Milan man is now seemingly on his way to PSG, according to Fabrizio Ramano.
Spurs fans were mixed on the decision to hand Donnarumma the Player of the Tournament award, as some gave a mention to Jordan Pickford.
The Everton keeper kept five clean sheets during the tournament – winning the Golden Glove – not conceding from open play and saving the same amount of spot-kicks as Donnarumma did during Sunday’s final.
But other Tottenham supporters think he is a player of high quality and they can see him going a long, long way in his career.
There’s no doubt that Donnarumma was outstanding in between the sticks for the Italian’s, but in truth, if England won the tournament then Pickford is probably given the prize instead.
Either way, this is how Spurs fans reacted to their former summer target being named the best player at Euro 2020:
