Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that Aston Villa will now submit a third bid for Emile Smith Rowe.
At the start of the summer, not many Arsenal fans would have envisaged such a situation where they could lose Smith Rowe’s talents.
But The Mirror have claimed (04/07/21, page 76) that Villa will increase their bid for the Hale-End academy product to £32.5 million – after two previous bids were rejected.
The key thing here is that Smith Rowe hasn’t penned down a new contract at the Emirates and signing on that dotted line would end all this talk, once and for all.
But whilst that hasn’t happened, Arsenal fans have seemingly expressed their frustration regarding this current matter.
After Mikel Arteta’s side failed to finish in Europe last season, the first thing they needed to do was clear the deadwood and then add serious talent to their squad.
Not potentially lose one of their emerging and talented stars, who provides that much-needed creativity, positive intent and flair for this declining Arsenal side.
Even though Arsenal supporters are getting fed up with Villa trying to push for Smith Rowe.
The questions has to be asked as to why Villa are going to put a third bid in because they must know a certain door is open for the Midlands outfit to sign him.
