Dani Ceballos’ recent form has changed many Arsenal fans’ opinion of him. The Spaniard, after his brilliant display against Burnley at the start of the season, struggled under Unai Emery.

An injury at the end of Emery’s tenure and behind the scenes problems at the start of Arteta’s reign saw him on the sidelines for a while. However, since Arteta started using him, he is almost been irreplaceable.

Since his debut under Arteta, Ceballos has played every single league game for Arsenal, and if his form is anything to go by, he will play every game till the end of this campaign.

Arteta will have to take a call on his future at the end of the season. Ceballos is on loan from Real Madrid and at this moment in time, he is obligated to return to the Bernabeu at the end of his spell.

Real Madrid have reportedly put him on the transfer list. Marca claim that Zinedine Zidane’s side are looking to move him on to raise funds this summer which should play right into Arsenal’s hands.

Lack of European football will hit Arsenal’s finances hard. A player of Ceballos’ quality was expected by many to cost well over the £35 million mark but it looks like Arsenal can land him for much cheaper.

The report says that Real Madrid will be accept a bid of £22.6 million for Ceballos which is a massive bargain. The Spaniard, still only 23, is far away from his peak but his performances have already been really good.

Arsenal fans feel that signing him for a fee as low as that is a no-brainer and that Arteta has to go for it this summer.
