
Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after Spurs announced the prices of the tickets for their pre-season friendly against MK Dons.
4,000 away fans will be allowed to attend the fixture, but they will be asked to pay a pretty penny for the pleasure, with prices of £20 a ticket being charged.
To be fair, £20 a ticket is very cheap these days in football, but for a pre-season friendly you’d expect to be getting in for cheaper than that.
Some fans weren’t happy at all with the pricing, with one fan making a very good point about a dangerous precedent being set in a post-lockdown world.
These tickets will undoubtedly sell out because many fans haven’t been able to go to this type of event for 18 months, but if that’s the way prices are heading, we could see extortionate ticket pricing going forward.
