Speaking on the UMM YouTube channel, Thierry Henry has responded after being asked about taking the Arsenal manager job in the future.
The Frenchman is of course one of the club’s biggest legends, and after his foray into coaching, plenty of us are wondering whether or not we’ll see him in the dugout in north London one day.
What’s been said?
Henry was answering a number of questions and assumptions about all sorts of things related to football, and he was asked about one day taking the Arsenal job.
“Hey, that’s a big assumption. Let me stay in my lane, right now I’m here talking to you on a zoom call, no, no, no, no. That is a big assumption. Right now I’m learning my curve, as you know, it’s not easy to be a coach man. It’s a long way away, even though I don’t live far from the stadium, it’s a long way to get there, a long way,” Henry said

Although Henry didn’t say that he wants the job, he didn’t rule out the possibility either.
It seems as though Henry knows he’s not ready to take such a big step at this point, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see him in charge of the Gunners one day.
So many clubs have hired legends in recent years with Frank Lampard heading to Chelsea and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer managing Manchester United, so why can’t Henry end up at Arsenal?
The 43-year-old doesn’t seem keen to dive into that role anytime soon, but it’s certainly a position he may look at once he gets more experience in management.
