Micky Quinn has written on Twitter that Newcastle United should part company with Steve Bruce if the team are comfortably beaten by Aston Villa tonight.
The former Newcastle forward was not impressed by the Magpies’ performance and result against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Monday evening.
Bruce’s side suffered a 3-0 loss in North London. It followed a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Sheffield United away from home.
Newcastle are back in action this evening when they take on Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League.
Big game tonight
Newcastle are not in good form at the moment, and the team do need to step up against Villa.
The Villans will fancy their chances of winning against Newcastle with ease, despite having lost their last three games in all competitions.
After all, those defeats came at the hands of Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City.
The Magpies are seven points above the Premier League relegation zone, and if results do not improve, then the team could fall get involved in a dogfight.
An early goal for Villa could really put Newcastle under pressure tonight, and the players will have to be at their very best.
