Owen Hargreaves says Arsenal’s star boy Bukayo Saka has a quality in his game that’s ‘very rare’ in young players today and that’s not trying to play too quickly or ‘always rushing’.
The former Bayern Munich and England midfielder added that Saka plays with so much ‘emotional intelligence’, as he thrived once again in the Premier League over the weekend.
In another blockbuster and testing game for Mikel Arteta’s side, the London club stood tall and secured a much-needed three points against Erik ten Hag’s much-improved Manchester United side.

Saka was up against fellow England teammate, Luke Shaw, but the Manchester United left-back still couldn’t do anything to stop the £70k-a-week star’s (Spotrac) pin-point shot hitting the back of the net from distance.
It was a moment of pure brilliance from the Hale-End star and a big reason why he is one of the best forwards, not just in the Premier League, but in Europe.
Former Manchester United star Hargreaves couldn’t stop singing the praises of the player, as he told Premier League Productions (23/01/23 at 2:15 pm).
“When you look at young players when they play, especially the wingers and the flair players,” said Hargreaves. “They are always rushing. They want to be too quick.
“Bukayo is the opposite. He slows down in the key moments. He reminds me a bit of Riyad Mahrez in the sense that he is looking for a little moment. A little body shift.
“That I find for a kid, what is he 21? That is very rare for a kid to play with that much emotional intelligence – he plays within himself.
“I played football and it was always stressful. He is always smiling. He looks like he is having the best time out there.”

SAKA – PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE WINNER?
What a story it would be for Arsenal, what a story it would be for Saka if he could guide his boyhood club to the Premier League title.
The last time Arsenal were champions of England, the player himself would have been three or four years old, so it’s pretty crazy to think it has been that long.
Either way, the road the north London giants are going down, they are so far deserving of securing title glory, it’s just about getting through those very difficult final few weeks of the season.
