Celtic fans had their fair share of classic strikes to choose from

Celtic fans have chosen their all-time favourite derby goal.
The likes of Scott Brown Moussa Dembele and Paul McStay all came close, but failed to make the cut.
Fans were asked to rank their top three strikes against Rangers, with three points being awarded for a first-choice, two for second and one for third.
In all, there were 70 goals nominated.
Neil Lennon’s men will almost certainly need to add to their tally of derby strikes on Saturday if they are to remain in this season’s title race, but until then these classic goals will surely provide many happy memories.
TOP 10
10. Mikael Lustig at Ibrox, April 2017 (18 points)
9. Shaun Maloney at Celtic Park, November 2005 (22 points)
8. Christopher Jullien at Hampden, December 2019 (25 points)

7. Chris Sutton at Celtic Park, May 2004 (26 points)
6. Georgios Samaras at Ibrox, January 2011 (47 points)
5. Odsonne Edouard at Ibrox, March 2018 (54 points)
Edouard has scored six times against Rangers, but this is undoubtedly the most memorable.
With Brendan Rodgers’ side having twice come from behind and been reduced to 10 men, Edouard curled a superb strike past Wes Foderingham to secure a 3-2 win.
4. Paul Lambert at Celtic Park, January 1998 (86 points)
Not only a sensational strike, but almost certainly the most important on this countdown.
With Rangers chasing 10-in-a-row, Wim Jansen’s side needed a result in the New Year derby.
Craig Burley had given Celtic the lead, and with Rangers in desperate need of a goal Lambert sealed the win with an unstoppable hit.
With that goal, the momentum swung in Celtic’s direction and there was ultimately to be no tenth title for Rangers.
3. Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink at Celtic Park, April 2008 (90 points)
There are dramatic winners and then there are dramatic winners.
This goal easily falls into the latter category.
Rangers were happy to see the game out at 1-1 knowing they had a four-point lead at the top of the table, but Vennegoor of Hesselink sparked absolute bedlam inside the stadium with an injury-time header.
2. Shunsuke Nakamura at Celtic Park, April 2008 (147 points)
As vital as Vennegoor of Hesselink’s goal proved to be, it wasn’t even the most popular goal from that game.
Celtic fans placed this sensational long-range effort from Shunsuke Nakamura even higher. He opened the scoring with his first Old Firm goal, and the fixture has seen few better.
Allan McGregor had no chance, and no matter how well Celtic play this Saturday it’s unlikely he’ll face anything approaching the quality of Nakamura’s incredible strike.
1. Henrik Larsson at Celtic Park, August 2000 (375 points)
“THAT. IS. SENSATIONAL”
Ian Crocker is still Sky Sports’ main man in Scotland, but 20 years on this remains his most iconic moment.
It’s no surprise that this one has been named Celtic’s greatest derby goal, and by a country mile at that.
The build-up alone from Larsson is impressive in itself, but the finish is perfection.
The King of Kings scored 242 goals in 315 appearances for Celtic, but this remains his most beloved.
