West Ham United have arguably the best fans in the business.
West Ham ace Felipe Anderson spoke exclusively to the club’s official website after his side’s win over Arsenal on Saturday, and offered high words of praise for the club’s supporters, observing how they are always with the team.
The Hammers currently sit in ninth spot in the Premier League table, and they have every chance of finishing inside the top seven this season, if they continue to play like they did against the Gunners on Saturday.
Anderson himself has played a key role for West Ham, since joining the club for around £42 million in the summer, chalking up an impressive eight goals and two assists in 22 Premier League appearances in the process.
The Brazilian spoke to reporters over the weekend, and thanked the Hammers fans for the continued support, highlighting how they are always behind the team no matter what happens, as quoted by the club’s official website:
“We created some chances, and it was very important to win because we were at home against a great rival, in front of our fans that always support us. To have so many fans was very important because we know how much they love us and that inspires us, because we feel it on the pitch and it is also an ingredient in our victories, they are always with us.”
Next up for West Ham is a trip to Bournemouth on Saturday, and Manuel Pellegrini’s men will be confident of racking up another vitally important three points.
And the travelling Hammers side will undoubtedly be right behind their team as per usual.
