Declan Rice was in action for West Ham United last night, and Ian Wright, Yannick Bolasie and Jamie Carargher were among those were impressed by the midfielder, who has been linked with a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Declan Rice from London and Premier League rivals West Ham United in the summer of 2023.
Earlier this week, Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has reported on Twitter that Arsenal have opened talks with West Ham over Rice and are in pole position for the England international midfielder.
There has also been speculation that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has already directly spoken to Rice.
The 24-year-old midfielder was in action for West Ham against AZ Alkmaar away from home in the second leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final tie on Thursday evening.
Pablo Fornals scored the only goal of the match in the fourth minute of injury time.
West Ham won the semi-final tie 3-1 on aggregate and booked their place in the final.
Rice started the match for the Hammers and produced yet another impressive performance.

Rice held his own in the middle of the park and drove the team forward in the second period.
